Concéntrico is the International Festival of Architecture and Design of Logroño that proposes to reflect on the urban environment and the city.
The festival invites you to explore the city through installations, meetings, activities and exhibitions that dialogue about public space and places of coexistence with a focus on the sustainability of materials nd processes.
This competition aimed to create an ephemeral architectural intervention in Viña Lanciano of Bodegas LAN that would be part of the set of facilities and the pavilion that would be carried out in different locations of the city.
Viña Lanciano is a vineyard of high landscape and ecological value, thanks to its peculiar location around a meander of the Ebro River.
It is a unique enclave not only for the cultivation of the vine, but also for the coexistence of a multitude of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and varieties of riverside flora, since the river surrounds it almost completely.
It is proposed to act next to the road that borders the farm, in the area closest to the remains of the Roman bridge of Mantible next to the plot Cantera vieja, on a band of land of 20x20m.

"We do not find only mirror, nor a vineyard, nor only a spectator. We find the reflection.

You feel your feet on the ground and your gaze is kept in the sky; a sky that imitates, but a deeper and unattainable blue.

Architecture makes landscape.

During the day the landscape acquires even more character and splendor; sunlight reflecting off the mirror illuminates the structure.

Mobile agents, such as birds, spectators or the vineyards themselves shaken by the wind, add dynamism to this new world that is reproduced on multiple sides of the frame.

At night the scenery changes radically.

Four fluorescent LED strips on both sides of the frame look up at the night sky, bathing the vineyards in a rosy color."
